The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Principal Quality Analyst to join our Engineering team and drive quality across our products and platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner with Engineers, Product Managers and Delivery teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll champion modern quality engineering practices, test automation and AI-assisted testing while coaching teams, influencing technical decisions and fostering a culture where quality is a shared responsibility

This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity, with the potential for extension.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and evolve the quality strategy across products, systems and services.
• Embed quality early by ensuring requirements are clear, measurable and testable.
• Influence solution design and architecture to improve quality, resilience and testability.
• Drive end-to-end testing automation
• Champion AI-assisted testing practices to improve delivery speed, coverage and confidence.
• Identify and manage quality risks, providing data-driven insights to support release decisions.
• Contribute hands-on to testing, automation, release validation and production readiness activities.
• Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen quality practices, risk awareness and test coverage.
• Foster a culture of shared ownership, where quality is everyone's responsibility.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience developing and delivering quality strategies for complex software systems.
• Strong test automation skills using JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#.
• Experience with modern testing tools such as Playwright.
• Familiarity with the underlying tech stack (React, .NET/C#, microservices, event-driven and cloud-based architectures) sufficient to design effective automated tests and understand where issues may originate.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools.
• Understanding of observability, secure coding and production support practices.
• Strong focus on customer outcomes, quality and system reliability.
• Self-driven, pragmatic and outcomes-focused.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Comfortable making risk-based decisions and navigating ambiguity.
• Collaborative leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring and uplifting teams.
